Thirsty Thursday

Do you love to sip cocktails poolside/oceanside?
I know I do!!

And, as my husband likes to say,
Today is...

So, being as it is Thirsty Thursday, I thought I'd share one of my faves!
Here's a drink that I was introduced to back in September 2012 at a wedding.
I've been kind of hoarding it but decided to share, in case you haven't discovered the deliciousness of Whipped Cream Vodka.

Oh, yes, you read that right!
Whipped Cream Vodka
The best invention known to man.
When I go out, this is what I will get nine times out of ten.
No more vodka cranberries for this gal!

So, what recipe do I want to share with you involving Whipped Cream Vodka?
Well, a pineapple upside down cake, of course!
It's not a shot.
It's not made with regular vodka.
And, it is absolutely heaven.

Here's what you will need:

Whipped Cream Vodka (I prefer Pinnacle)
Grenadine
Pineapple Juice
and ice, if you'd like

step one: fill glass with ice
 

step two: add one ounce whipped cream vodka
 

step three: fill remainder of glass with pineapple juice
 

step four: top with a dash of grenadine
 

step five: add straw and enjoy!
 

It's as easy as that!
Five steps, and you're done.
